meteoblue shows high precision weather forecasts combined with a beautiful, simple and easy to use design. Weather forecasts can be requested for any place on Earth easily and comfortably.

• Weather forecasts for any point on land or sea.
• Location search with more than 6 million locations: search for location name, postal code or coordinates or let the app find your current position with the GPS module.
• 3 different widgets that can be added right to your home screen.
• 7 days forecast: daily overview and detailed information for every single day with hourly or 3 hour values. Besides standard parameters like temperature, precipitation and wind information, unique features like predictability and rainSPOT give a better overview.
• Meteogram 5 days: temperature curve with pictograms, cloud layers in different altitudes and wind forecast.
• 14 days: trend forecast for minimum and maximum temperature as well as precipitation and precipitation probability.
• Satellite map: observed cloud cover for North America, Central America, Europe, Africa and India, with lightning updates for selected areas.
• Radar map: precipitation radar for Germany, Switzerland, Romania, USA and South America. Others will be added.

Ratings and reviews

App tracking is becoming more and more invasive. This app is a good example. Turned it on to check the weather (I force stop most apps because of their lack of respect to privacy) and within the minute or two it took to check the weather, this app tracked me over 400 times. Every time I think it can't reach a new bottom, it does. Don't update! You will be forced to opt out of 100s of trackers all over again. Discusting!

I have mixed feelings about this. I love the data and transparency about meteoblue and have used the website for a while. I paid for the app and was really excited but the widget on my homepage doesn't update on it's own. In fact, I woke up on Saturday and the widget still had the forecast for Thursday/Friday. I had to manually tap the refresh button which just seems a bit archaic in today's day-and-age.

Brilliant app. Great service, too! I had a setting that kept switching nebto a global view. I contacted Meteo Customer service, and we tried a few things before they noticed that I had that setting. They stayed with me until it was working perfectly. It's a simple, yet verybinfornarive app. I upgraded a couple of years ago and have never gone back to the others I used to use before I discovered MeteoBlue. Thanks!!

What's new

With this update, you can share the forecast with friends. Use the share button to send a screenshot of the weather forecast or a link to the maps, the radar or the satellite. Also, the app now shows seperate pictograms for the weather during the night.
