Works great with the Tindeq Progressor and V-rings/Duck rings! If it doesn't connect right away, cycle the bluetooth off/on and make sure location is turned on (I learned the hard way having location off and 20 min later realized, lol). A great tool for climbing training! I love it and still use it to this day. Great work with the last update! :)

The app itself works well enough for connecting to the progressor, so at least that's good. The forced login is horrendous. The account isn't used for anything (other than snooping on you, probably), and the account management features don't work. Good luck if you forget your password.

Hi Glen, login is needed to store your data in the cloud, so it’s not lost if your device is replaced. Use "Forgot password" and check your spam folder for the reset link. We only use data for app improvement and don’t sell it. Privacy info: https://play.google.com/store/apps/datasafety?id=com.progressor&hl=en. Contact support@tindeq.com for help.

Useful device but a privacy nightmare The device doesn't connect if you don't create an account and provide location information. Why do you need location permissions for Bluetooth? For a >200 euro device (and add to that 50 euro in taxes!!) this is not acceptable. And the team doesn't respond to emails

Hi Robert, login is needed to store your data in the cloud, so it’s safe if your phone is lost or broken. We don’t need your location, but it’s required by Android for Bluetooth scanning. Sorry for the slow email response; we usually reply within 2-3 days, but it’s taken longer recently. We’ll work on improving this going forward.
