About this app
The Associação Comunitária Cultural Paraíso de Radiodifusão was created on 12/08/2012, in the city of São João do Paraíso - MG, in order to legalize a community radio.
It was 7 years of a lot of struggle and persistence, until in May 2019 the concession was released.
Radio Paraíso FM 87.9 was conceived by broadcaster Valmiro Gomes Costa, who always dreamed of having a legalized communication vehicle to serve the population.
He managed to see his dream come true, but he could not enjoy this achievement, because when the radio concession came out, Valmiro Gomes had discovered pancreatic cancer. He tried to treat himself, but unfortunately due to the stage of the disease, he died in September 2019. He left, but he left a great legacy that will last for the rest of the lives of his family, friends and acquaintances.
