IMPORTANT UPDATE: Rakuten Authenticator App Decommissioning

We would like to inform you that we will be making some changes to the authentication methods for the Google Play Gift Code Store service and DAZN gift code limited store. Up till now, the services could be accessed either by

using a password or a passwordless alternative, Rakuten Authenticator App. However, we will decommission Rakuten Authenticator App as of October 28, 2024.

This change pertains solely to the authentication method, and you can continue to use the services as usual by signing in with your password.

The full decommission schedule is as follows:

From September 17, 2024, it will not be possible to register any new devices on Rakuten Authenticator App.
Until October 28, 2024 the app will continue to function as per usual.
From October 29, 2024, please use passwords or Easy Login to sign into Rakuten services.
Next steps:

Please proceed to delete the Rakuten Authenticator app from your device. Should you be unable to delete the app immediately, rest assured that it can be removed at a later time.
