I can't find the "vignette" effect anywhere in the edit menu. (i.e., I just want to add a faint, adjustable, dark, blurry "frame" around existing pictures, without any other color or style adjustments, like in other photo-editing apps. I can't find that "vignette" effect anywhere in the edit menu. Can anyone tell me where in the edit menu it might be?

My goto photo app. When I switched from a Samsung phone to Google pixel, I missed the included gallery app. Google's "photos" is terrible and I don't want it linked to the cloud. I tried lots of different apps and finally found this one. It has everything I need - simple grid layout, image folders with custom sorting. The only downside is that it takes a few seconds to refresh new photos when opening the app. I wished this happened in the background so the initial experience didn't feel laggy.

This app is one of my staples for my phone, but the slide show feature is now a hit or miss (75% miss) for it to work. When you click the "ok" button in the slideshow dialog window, then it behaves as if you are pressing the screen twice. The first activates the slideshow, but it immediately stops the slideshow before it starts. I observe that at the times that it does not work,I see the controls disappear (as expected) but only for a split second before they come back in view (not expected).
