The description for this app is very inviting but it's designed for old versions of Android (v2.2). Since I'm running v13, I wasn't surprised that my screen started flickering when I fired it up. That was enough to convince me that I don't want it on my phone. Upgrade the app for an OS that's closer to "current" & I'll reconsider.

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, the app supports older versions but also works on new OS as well. We have tested it on Android v13 and it works as expected. We didn't experience any flickering but assume it could be device or brand related. Thank you for your report, we are working on the next update for the latest versions of Android.

Far better than the other, similarly named application, which could only work with photographs not directly with the camera. With this you just point at the object you're interested in, click the button and read off the RGB values. What could be simpler? Thank you for not making something so simple into a horse's arse like those other people [nicksdroid] have!

:) Thank you very much for your comment and support! That was exactly our point to make color measurements with live view camera as simple as possible but still useful and not cluttered with ads. Thank you for taking time to share your experience.

"UPDATE" It has support, great! I do get a popup message when I open the app, and why an update is needed. "ColorMeter Free: this app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly. Try checking for updates, or contact the developer."

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the new Android versions shows the message for the app published for older versions but the app works as intended and we don't get any reports about issues with the app on new devices. We try to address any user concerns if it's critical for app functionality.
