xWave Smart Referring was created to meet the market demand for a digital solution to streamline the referral process for medical imaging and to ultimately enhance patient safety.
Referring patients for digital imaging is a complex process for many doctors, consultants and GPs. It is not easy to know what the best scan is for a patient or where to find specialist radiology support. Furthermore, there is no end-to-end audit trail for referrers and radiologists to keep track of a patient’s progress.
