I have Android 14 on a Galaxy S21. This app is now useless for me. It used to keep current battery level on the face of the icon, great for keeping tabs on battery level at a glance. Now, the icon always shows 75%. I have to open the app to see current battery level. Inconvenient. My battery level is always in the top right corner of my screen, but the font is really small, so it takes a moment for me to focus in. Still more convenient than opening an app. Tried changing settings, couldn't fix.

Newer Android versions have restrictions that you have to manually change for the app to work properly. Please search for options that may block the app from running freely. Try to open the "App Info" and check that the app is not power managed and can run in background. Start the app at least once after you made the required changes.

Update: I updated it and it still does it. I have to go through the consent stuff every time I open the app. It's happening when I click on the widget to check battery stats, if this helps. Edit: it is the privacy consent screen where I confirm what relative ads show up. Any time I click the widget to open the app, I have to go through it again. Using Samsung Galaxy S9+ with Nova launcher. Just sent an email to the info address. Thanks.

I'm trying to reproduce the issue but without success, can you maybe send me a screenshot of the screen that shows up?

Compact, informative and works well. I'd love to have a temperature chart option as well; should be trivial to overlay the existing voltage vs time chart. Another option to add would be SOC vs time instead of voltage vs time. It's not a linear relationship, but I assume the app somehow takes this fact into account when it calculates its displayed 'Remaining Capacity' value. These options would certainly justify a premium price! :-)
