In this game, you have to find the secret word. You have unlimited guesses.

The words were sorted by an artificial intelligence algorithm according to how similar they were to the secret word.

After submitting a word, you will see its position. The secret word is number 1.

The algorithm analyzed thousands of texts. It uses the context in which words are used to calculate the similarity between them.

This is a great concept for a game. Unfortunately, the AI leaves much to be desired, in terms of ranking the relevance of guesses. It isn't terrible, but it isn't good. Improve this, and I will happily change my rating to 5 st☆rs.

Not sure what the learning algorithm is that governs the game, but "Closest Words" is a list of words no reasonable person would put in that order. My partner deleted the game after yesterday's puzzle; I'm now deleting it after today's puzzle. Guessing the word is a crapshoot, not a sequence of reasonable guesses based on the game's response.

Sometimes the most obvious answer is the answer...I've found that an extensive vocabulary can be more of a hindrance than a help! Great thinking game, 10/10.
