Update-6/17/24: New update seems stable. Some improvement in the GUI. You will NOT get it working without help from your dealer. You will need a CMS code or for them to create an account for you. There is absolutely no way to complete setup without one of these two. Do NOT expect this to be straightforward! That said, it does work. Technically inclined, you can't use a router or switch with STP so you will need to disable that on your switch or use the newer RSTP (rapid spanning tree protocol).

Worked great for weeks then needed to disconnect the wifi for a few hours. Reconnected and it does not work. Tried EVERYTHING for 2 hours and nothing..most people on here rated this poorly and I did not agree until now. This should not be this hard. Update-Sent Balboa email. They called on the phone-said an update over the weekend caused the outage. All is well again. Great customer service to actually call me. But would be great if they warned about the maintenance. Many wasted hours.

While this app/system are a great idea, the functionality is not great. The system is constantly offline for no reason; sometimes for a day, sometimes for a week or more. It will mysteriously come back online, same as it went offline. I will adjust settings in the app, then go back a day later and nothing actually changes (eg, I will lower the temperature, the next day it will be back to 104F).
