How to Scan?

To scan your receipts and bills using Foreceipt, simply tap the scan icon at the bottom. Place your phone above the receipt on a plain, dark background. Foreceipt uses OCR technology to accurately read the merchant and payment data to convert your paper bills & receipts into digital receipts. You can edit, verify or delete your receipts once scanned. Foreceipt is the most convenient expense tracker available.

app is good. it just is a bummer you pay a yearly fee for basically something you can do with most backing apps now days. and if you want to do a report from it you need to pay more! that all these apps ever do is take more money out of a small business pocket. I could pay for quick books for the same amount of money and it does a whole lot more. Forecast is a little to proud of the product for the what you actually get for the money. not worth it. I will be moving on to something different.

This app has taken a turn for the worse. It started taking longer to process receipts. The new "bug" is that the quota is used. I haven't scanned a single receipt this month. Today, I scanned a lunch receipt and it's not stored. I have the "free" version of 20 receipts per month. Nothing is free. I wouldn't recommend the app unless you are willing to risk the paid version. If you are willing to pay, there are likely better apps. The scan feature is nice but not worth it.

I've been using this for over 2 yrs now, and I still love it. I use it every day to keep track of all my receipts. It nearly always pulls the total, merchant name, and date from the receipt (even when they are hard for me to even see). Best receipt app out there. Edit 1/18/25 App has really declined. Takes 24 hrs or longer to process most times now. I'll be getting rid of my premium subscription and looking elsewhere if it doesn't improve.
