Update: Had to upgrade my review below from 3 stars to 5 stars. I had to learn how to properly use the app for a while and play with the settings, etc...Now the app is working excellently. Original: App used to work fine. Now it has started malfunctioning. Locking and unlocking the mic spontaneously, showing the mic locked in the notification but unlocked in the app, etc... Would have given it 10 stars had it kept working properly. Maybe you should give a way to uninstall updates as a choice.

Works well when it does, but has some bugs that haven't been resolved in the years I've been using it. I use an internet calling app, which I have listed in the mic block's list of approved apps, but it only lets the mic work 50% of the time. I've never been able to figure out what makes it work and what doesn't. When it fails, I have to hang up, turn the mic block off, and call the person back. Also a brand new problem has started just in the past week...app icon says it's off, but it's on.

Seems to work well as far as I can tell on Galaxy S7 Edge, Marshmallow. Doesn't seem to drain the battery, and doesn't interfere with phone calls. Difficult to really tell how well it blocks, but so far so good. My complaint is that the configuration options and settings are not very intuitively understandable. Specifically, if I set it for auto unblock, then tap one of the "+" boxes, it shows a list of apps (having the in alphabetical order would be nice), 2 R 'Phone'. 1 say
