About this app

SGSecure is Singapore’s community response to the threat of terrorism. It is a movement to build the resilience of our community and a call to action to everyone in our society to come together to safeguard Singapore and our way of life.

Use the SGSecure app to:
- send videos, photos and incident details to the authorities if you see anything suspicious.
- receive timely alerts from the authorities in the event of major emergencies, as well as security-related updates and advisories.
- activate the Personal SOS feature to contact the Police via the Police’s SMS 71999 service, and allow them to access your approximate location, if you require emergency Police assistance but are unable to call ‘999’.
- contact the authorities when you require emergency assistance.
- respond to nearby cardiac arrest cases and minor fires.
- locate the nearest AED in your vicinity.
- be informed of the latest SGSecure initiatives and announcements via the home screen.
- locate nearby emergency facilities e.g. Civil Defence Public Shelters.

Ratings and reviews

Cannot register via singpass or phone for responder, when registered, it will give white blank page and hang there, closed the app and opened it again, it will not even load the app, it was stuck on the logo sgsecure page... please advise. It has been like this for few weeks now.

The reviews here are really true! One day I was running late for school and all the MRTs were filled to the brim as it was peak hours period. I remembered that I had the SGSecure App, so I whipped out my phone and took a picture of my train station. Before I could blink, Mr Lawrence Wong came to my aid and summoned an empty train right behind the filled one. Ever since that day I have been using this app when I needed the train to arrive immediately. Tysm SGSecure for changing our lives for good

one day when i was writing my math exam, suddenly a huge dinosaur burst into the school!!!!! we all thought it was the end of the world, but then i remembered that i could use sgsecure!! i quickly pulled out my phone and submitted a photo of the dinosaur. in just 0.1 seconds, a huge tank spawned in the school and shot down the dinosaur and saved us all ‼️‼️🦕
