Fun game with janky physics at times. The target for your swing is so wide and random that most shots are hit correctly but missed due to the random line it follows. Shots that bounce off of objects suddenly speed up to three times the speed of the initial shot, which causes a lot of shots to careem into the water when it should have rolled a little bit and stopped. There is no rhyme or reason to when these things happen so you cannot plan against them. You just hope it doesn't happen.

Accuracy on longer shots feels completely random. Would be better with some kind of timing-based accuracy slider, so it felt more like skill and less like luck. Camera controls are also a bit frustrating- lifting your finger from the screen after careful alignment sends the camera to the left or right by a couple degrees and messes up your shot. Also frustrating that choosing a different club changes the zoom amount, meaning you're constantly trying to adjust the camera back to where you want it

It's been my favorite game for almost a year, but now... It appears, like most other games, the devs run out of patience and begin throwing in new elements that take away from the original intrigue of the game. In my opinion, the quickest way to kill a realistic game is to begin adding power-ups and unrealistic boosters. Adding power-ups to a golf game is silly. The essence of golf is the simplicity of the sport. That's what made this game great. It's not anymore. And that's unfortunate.
