About this app

PowerMon is a powerful tool that allows you to scan, connect, display measured parameters and configure your BT-DCPM Bluetooth DC Power Meter / Battery Monitor devices. The application requires at least one physical device (BT-DCPM) which can be purchased from Thornwave Labs Inc.

Features:
- scan for BT-DCPM devices and display summary of measurements (voltage, temperature, battery state of charge and power relay status)
- displays alert when measurements are not within specified ranges
- connect to a BT-DCPM device and display full measurements (two voltages, current , power, energy (Wh), battery charge (Ah), temperature, battery state of charge and battery estimated runtime)
- rename devices
- change device configuration
- manually turn power ON or OFF
- set password protection
- reset the power meter and/or charge meter
- add, edit and delete timers
- update the device firmware

I really like the PowerMon unit and the application! If you only hook it up and use the application you won't be disappointed. I have two units; one on an FLA and a second on a LiFe-Po4. That is worth 4 stars. To get the final star, answering support emails is required. There is a MR Terminal. Great clue that there are four possible uses; data stream output, Temperature Sensor, Push Button Input, Communication. Please answer my emails and share documentation of how to use/wire for each use.

Have to set date each time. History does not always record. Been lost in a number of occasions. Fix date so does not need to be set each time it default to some random 2017 year. Battery percentage show 100% when it is charging and I know battery isn't full 6/1/2022. Still issues with date. battery % statistics not syncing unless I push force Sync.

It is very reassuring to have the ability to determine RV coach battery status by using your smartphone. This is more necessary now that I have converted the Norcold propane evaporation refrigerator to an DC compressor unit. The compressor uses much more battery power so the Powermon data is very helpful.
