About this game
The DUPLICATE variation of the famous word game consists of placing the word that earns the most points on each move.
The player plays against the program that knows the solution that gives the most points. It is this solution which is placed on the game board for the next round.
The dictionary and the games are adapted to ODS9 (Official Scrabble 9, applicable as of 1/1/2024).
The game offers 500 memorized GAMES including 50 in "joker" games (numbers 451 to 500, see the rules in the help).
You can also choose a āfreeā game, random draws on each move. This is a āpulled out of the bagā game.
From version V4.0, the ORIGINAL games 7 out of 8, 7 and 8, joker, 7 out of 8 joker and 7 and 8 joker are possible. These are also āfree gamesā.
The program calculates the points and checks their existence in the dictionary.
The dictionary contains the ODS8 words (all or almost all?)
The game board of phones and small tablets is "zoomed" and movable ("scroll").
Choose the game number (+-1 and +-10 buttons), or choose to play a "FREE" game which will never be identical.
Start the game using the āStart gameā or āFree gameā button, simple or original.
On the game board, move the letters with your finger.
The āPrepareā button allows you to check the word and count the points
and register it for validation if the points are higher than the previous prepared points.
(You have the option to enter word and position instead of moving letters.)
The āValidateā button suggests the word to place.
The program then places the word "top" on the grid and displays the letters of the next draw.
The program displays tops and subtops as a result.
The menu allows you to have help on words of 2 or 3 letters, as well as words with expensive letters.
The letters of the current draw are underlined in the help.
An āanagrammerā shows you all the possible words with the letters in the draw.
The āscoreā tab allows you to see the points for each shot. You can find tops and sub-tops for each shot.
The remaining tab allows you to see the remaining letters as well as the history of memorized games played.
REFLECTION TIME can be unlimited or limited to 5 minutes, 3 minutes, 2 minutes, 90s or 60s.
An option allows you to know the TOP TO REACH each time.
The CURRENT GAME can be saved and resumed later.
With a SAVE on each move to resume the game in the event of a crash (sorry, it still happens).
