Stellar Patrol is a wild ride through the galaxy on a quest to save worlds, solve mysteries and to stamp out the enemies of civilization. A classic retro space sim game in the spirit of a freelancer.

Having escaped the destruction of invaders, you and your starfigher have returned to free the galaxy from its captors. Take the space battle to the enemies and recapture each sector, planet by planet, base by base. Upgrade your ships, weapons and technology along the way to give yourself an edge over the enemies in space. Make friends with planets and bases while chasing pirates away. Trade between planets and sectors and discover hidden resources to help pay the way. Help planets restore diplomacy by completing missions. The fate of the free galaxy is up to you.

they are not big on explaining much,so you learn by trial and error. best space game i was able to find sin ce space corsair was abandoned by its dev 3years ago simular in style.Plus totally offline at zero real money cost!How hard is that to find in space games?should be updates coming as there is room for expansion.just remember,trial and error .be patient you will be happy with the results.

Its ok Its a good game although it can use optimizing and better graphics (and less copyright) but its good has room for improvement though but its made by a single guy Improvents Less cluttered galaxy map Optimization New backgrounds (the insides of a real-life carrier just dont fit) less copyright (just in case) better tutorial Capital ships Better visuals (lines dont look as good) better graphics

This needs more! like custom factions, much active space (like plenty civilian ships are flying around.), Colonization! Uncolonized systems, personal space stations would be nice though. Stuff like you have to kill all pirates in a single system could be removed though.
