Ve.DO is an application developed by the Poligrafico e Zecca of the Italian State for verifying the receipt issued to the citizen upon completion of the process of requesting the Electronic Identity Card.
The citizen, via the app, can optically scan the QR code on the CIE receipt and verify its authenticity on their smartphone. You can also check the data reported and the processing status of your Electronic Identity Card.
ATTENTION
Verifying the authenticity of the receipt and the processing status of the CIE by scanning the QR code can only be done via the Ve.DO application.
