There is no difference in features other than the presence or absence of advertisements for the paid version and the free version.
If you purchase the Remove Ads Add-on, the ads will not be displayed and there will be no difference from the paid version of ibis Paint.

Ratings and reviews

It's an fine app, or it was. The large amount of ads are odd for just a drawing app, which has led me to find numerous workarounds so I don't need to experience them. And even then, there's pretty much a guarantee for a weird pop-up add if you close out of the app and re-enter. And the fact that the free period of premium brushes after watching an advertisement has gone from 18 hours to 4 is insane. I feel like Ibis Paint X gaining money has been prioritized above all else lately.

Still runs well on my 4 year old phone, even though my phone's struggling. It takes a minute to learn the tools, but they have lots of tutorials and great info that makes the process easy. It's beginner friendly, but also works well for more practiced artists. It's updated and gets new and useful features. Edit: Got my new phone, and it's running just as well as ever!

I love this app! It does so much to be so small. I use this app on both my computer and my phone and it always works flawlessly. I can make edits to a blank canvas, new pictures, photos, screenshots, wallpapers or just about anything I want. Easy to use (if you understand basic art programs and how they work) comes with a massive amount of brushes and materials. The extensive help files are written in plain language and are easy to understand. One of the best art applications out there!
