Has helped me raise my rating significantly. I now see many new combinations. And in a short time it satisfies my daily thirst for chess. Wish we could choose the number of puzzles at a particular level of difficulty, though. But it's fun, easy to use and doesn't take too much time.

The app has 6 daily of differing difficulty. You can ask for a hint if stuck. There is an engine where you can try out things you thought would work to see your error. The puzzles use various patterns, so you'll likely learn something. The puzzles aren't strictly puzzles (aka only one move that wins). Sometimes, 2+ win and you need to find the best move. This makes the puzzles feel different than real puzzles but in a good way. You feel more like you're playing a match due to this.

I really enjoy the bite sized chess lesson opportunities during the day. I always feel like I learn something new. Some of the puzzles are odd in the choices made on behalf of the opponent as clearly not the best tactical moves and so the feedback given to you of a "wrong" move is clearly a preference. Another thing feature that would make this superior would be to add rationale explanations for puzzles so that the learner can benefit from the overall strategy taught for proficiency/mastery.
