It is EXTREMELY bad practice to just blanket require ALL available permissions to even use an app. Gps, nearby devices(for pairing, should be able to be turned off after pairing) and notifications(this should be able to be turned off as well) kinda make sense, but this app has 0 reason to need access to my phones picture, video, music and audio files. And this app won't even start without those permissions. Any reputable app dev would know this. No I will not be calling your phone number, fix it

Hello, The app must follow Googles policies to allow the use of many features such as Offline map downloads. The application does not collect customer data.

Requires essentially full access to phone, many permissions, all without motivation. Stating to regret this purchase... Won't allow starting app if certain permissions are withdrawn. Why would it need access to all my photos for example? Also, random crashes while in the field makes me nervous it won't work when I actually need it. Update: Response to Dogtras reply Please do not take this discussion offline, instead maybe answer or motivate why all permissions are needed. That's the proper way.

The pathfinder 2, and its app, leave a lot to be desired. The map system is terrible compared to the original pathfinder. The collars lose RF signal constantly, meaning you have no control of the collar, and no idea where your dog actually is. The GPS system is way off. Standing next to my dogs, it will say they are over 75 feet away from me, and it does not have them, or me in the location they actually are in. The original system was great, but Gen 2 is unreliable, and not functional.
