With the increase in the number of accidents and sudden illness increases the need for the provision of first aid. Due to various reasons, people first aid in an accident often fail to provide, resulting in major health complications injured or sick persons. The results of several studies suggest that the problem is related mainly to the lack of knowledge on the proper provision of first aid. On the other hand, adequate first aid shown to reduce the number and duration of hospitalizations, contributes to more effective treatment, improved recovery, better quality of life after injury or illness, as well as long-term positive impact on the health care budget, reducing the environmental burden and increasing overall well-being of the population.
