Sometimes it can communicate over the internet, sometimes it can't. Would be better if you could access the wifi interface directly. Looks like it depends on servers that are on the other side of the world. When it works, its slow. When it doesn't work, it's always very inconvenient as it's down precisely when you need to adjust settings. Most settings can be changed with the app but chronological settings like when to switch to battery only mode are not present in the app. No way to export data

2 stars because it does allow updating the settings. Other than that this is next to useless. The registration process is clunky, no way to deregister a device, "realtime" data a VERY slow to update (minutes). It seems like the data is going to a server somewhere before it is available in the app. If this is the case the developers need to tell us that! The Bluetooth version is sooooo much better. Too bad my new system only has wifi.

The app is a little clunky but offers a simple way to configure the appliances. I would like to see better reporting and historical data. Daily, weekly, monthly load, solar generation, grid use. A way to compare these stats like month to month or year to year. A field to enter local grid cost to help determine solar savings and see ROI growth. These items could all be tied to the Overview tab. The current app is a great starting point but I think these would really help bring additional value.
