So at 1st I connected my orbi and the app and everything worked fine. But then I registered my orbi and change the name of the Network back to my original network name so that all my devices would automatically connect to it and now the app won't connect to the orbi. Horrible horrible. App is very buggy doesn't seem to work 90% of the Time . Net gear really needs to fix this period thinking about sending back the entire system because of this .
UPDATE: 01/21/18 There has been an update to the app and it now works perfect for me. Netgear support (Colin) was wonderful in keeping me updated and helping me get this resolved! Thank you! Since the app update, the app no longer works. I just get a white screen. This has happened on two new phones and through many uninstalls. It's no longer useful. Netgear, I've emailed you. Upgrading has not helped.
This app is very buggy. Most of the time when I open it, it hangs on the splash screen. The times that it does work, I usually get asked to validate my serial number and in doing so, it either says I am already registered or that the serial number is invalid. Goes with my overall experience of the Orbi system using 2.18 firmware and Galaxy S8
Worked when I first got it, but now I can't connect to app. Doesn't have a white screen, just says can't connect, try again. Then suggests to set up new. That doesn't work either. I have cleared data and cache and reinstalled. Lame. I have lastest update 220.127.116.11
Pointless. Too basic to be of value and when setting up for the first time I was sent through the router web interface as soon as I joined the new Orbi network. When returning to the app it was a repeat of the process I'd just done and offered no further value Waste of time! Pleased with Orbi performance so far just not this app. Nice to see you have bots not hummus replying to these posts. Clearly not read. I don't need support thanks. You need to fix your bugs and improve! Unimpressed
Won't connect. What good is all those nice features if it can't even get setup properly? It seems to expect it to get setup a certain way. Had I known this I would not waste my money. Very disappointed!!
