I like the original. I was hoping this would be a nice way to play Fishing Break with my family & friends. After all, it advertises this as its "multiplayer mode." It's not. They stripped out most of what made the original so good while riddling it with lootboxes, a cluttered interface, and random strangers zipping back and forth across my screen on their mobile private islands... Are you kidding me? This isn't fishing! It feels like they're just trying to reel in the TikTokers. Total carp.

This version is by far better than the original. Being able to see other boats and seeing rare when people catch rare fish makes this one of the best fishing games for mobile. If I could add one thing though it would be a fish tank like in the original instead of the pictures of the catches that you can see. But overall great game and good job developers

Max level everything in the last zone and you can't catch anything without the legendary bait that you HAVE to pay money to get besides the occasional taste they give you with levels. And not just 1 legendary bait it usually takes 2. That said 3 zones before that you also need at least 2 legendary baits to catch regular fish. If you could buy the bait with in-game currency maybe it would be worth it but skip this game. Just trying to save people time. Reason there's 0 people online.
