I purchased an Alcatel Hotspot device on my MetroPCS Plan the day prior to them switching to Metro PCS by T-Mobile. The very next day, after the switch, I received a firmware update to the Alcatel Linkzone device. Once the update was installed and I rebooted the device, the Linkzone App no longer recognizes that I am connected to this hotspot. It is funny, however, that the day I bought the device, the app worked flawlessly. I have been in touch with MetroPCS and they have replaced the device, app still doesn't work. I have been on the phone with Alcatel directly, and was told there were no more updates to the app available.

Terrible app. It functioned once for its intended use. Immediately after closing the app and returning to it, the data usage failed to display. Now I am unable to access the app completely, after several reinstallations. After skimming through the plethora of one star reviews, I acknowledge that the developers have no intention to correct these issues. If you are using Mifi, do not download the app it's a waste of time. Hopefully, the issue is resolved in the future.

This app used to work great, not anymore. You cannot check how much time you have left, no way to monitor it at all. Even after I pay extra for more (before im out I might add) also slows down to a crawl- too slow for a movie after half way through. I'm starting to get super aggravated that they wont fix the constant bugs. I have to take it to metro once a month for BS problems, and have had to uninstall and reinstall several times. It's just a pain in the behind. Do BETTER guys!!!!
