About this app

The Unity Install mobile app is an easy-to-use device activation application. With our self-install option, you can set up your devices quickly and easily and save on installation fees. The in-app knowledge base section gives you access to step-by-step installation instructions, troubleshooting guides and much more. The app captures all the installation actions and reports them in Unity web app via the Install module, providing fleet managers at the head-office with status updates.

The Unity Install app includes the following features:

• Device scanner to support easy device recognition
• Device Health check to verify that the device has been installed successfully
• Associate the device with an asset and setup the asset details (asset name, license plate)
• Verify if the VIN is available from the ECM, or update it manually
• ECM Data reading verification to validate the ECM connection
• Captures each installation action, reporting available in FC Hub
• Knowledge base with device installation manuals

This app is only available for Powerfleet customers; please only download and install this app if you have a valid Powerfleet account.
