About this app

GOIN' works with select transit and social service organizations to facilitate rides with ride providers. The GOIN' app empowers on-demand or scheduled rides in transit zones and to and from Transit stations. We also partner with organizations for membership-eligible rides to the doctor and around your community.

When you access and use GOIN’s platform, we collect information under the following categories. This information may be (i) submitted by you, (ii) collected by us automatically, or (iii) submitted to us by a third party, such as a ride service provider.

Registration information

This may include your personal information such as name, email address, mobile number, profile picture, login details, etc. This information will be used to provide our services, identify you, contact you regarding any notices, and create an account for you as a user.

Payment information

You may be required to submit your payment method information, which may include your card number, CVV, account name, account email address, etc. depending on the type of payment method you choose. All payments are processed securely using Stripe.

Transaction information

We will automatically collect the details of your transactions on GOIN’s platform, including transactions between you and any driver or ride service provider. This is to protect your rights and comply with our record-keeping obligations.

Demographic data

We will require you to submit demographic information, such as your age, date of birth, gender, etc. when you access the GOIN’s platform. This information will be used, among other things, to categorize you, gather statistics, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Location information

We will require access to your GPS and location using Google Map services. Your location information is accessed strictly with your permission. You can withdraw your permission at any time. However, be aware that location-based services may become unavailable when you withdraw your permission.

User-generated content information

Certain areas on GOIN’s platform may permit you to submit user-generated content, such as reviews, pictures, and comments. Any personal information you submit to us in this circumstance will remain on our database.

Usage and analytics information

We may use third-party software, such as Google Analytics (from Google Inc.), to collect information about how you use GOIN’s platform. Usage and analytics information may include, without limitation, how you navigate through the GOIN’s platform, your stay duration, the areas you access, the URL you came to the GOIN’s platform from, and any information about crashes. This information is automatically collected to identify how GOIN’s platform is doing and how to improve.

Device information

We will automatically collect information about the device you access the GOIN’s platform with. This information may include, without limitation, your browser name and version, IP address, geolocation, and other device identifiers. This information is collected to protect our interest, secure GOIN’s platform, provide our services and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Ratings and reviews

I've tried to use this service for about 4 months. The app appears easy to use, but it functions with issues. One of many quirks: the auto-populated locations feature when searching your "current location" and "destination" is clunky—I have to re-type my search a few times before the field will register what I typed in. So it takes up to 4 times longer to input the information before I can move to the next screen. Then after that, my requests are cancelled 75% of the time by customer service.

I've been riding the runner since it's first started back in September, and to be honest the app has never been consistent, why do I need to update the app mostly every week! I think there was only one week that it was ok,it just keeps on changing, figure it out and let it be🤷‍♀️Other than that the Customer Service has been great and very helpful, I just feel sorry for all the confusion for them and the riders!

When you type your destination the suggestions pop up at the bottom of the screen where they're covered by the keyboard. Instead of saving your preferred payment method, they continuously select the 'Goin Wallet'. Why isn't the service area shown on the map? Locations that seem they should be in Ruston area are listed as Unavailable. Pierce Transit should've expanded service of existing buses instead of wasting money. Rides aren't a sure thing, it has to find an available driver like uber.
