Ratings and reviews

I enjoyed this app when I first downloaded it, but within the last month it's felt like a total bait and switch. Several features that were free when I first downloaded it — the persistent notification with weather conditions, being able to change the time of the forecast alert — were changed to premium features without any prior notification. I understand the dev needs to make money, but instead of taking away features, how about adding new ones for premium members?

Easily the best weather app on Android. My only issue is that the precipitation times are always off. The "Until 9AM: precipitation possible" text on the forecast radar is always about 2 hours before the current time (it's 11am as I'm writing this). And the "next 8 hours" chart always shows the previous 8 hours instead of the next 8 hours. If these issues could be fixed, this would be the perfect weather app.

Great weather app. The Material You looks amazing. Two things missing for me that would bring this app to a full 5 stars: First, background location update/access. I mostly prefer to check the weather from the weather widget and then go into the app if I want more info. Without the ability to grant background location access, the widget is always out of date and I'm forced to open the app to update the location which defeats the purpose of the widget. The other is alternative weather sources.
