Every month there are interviews with the best designers and the new rising stars of Crochet, reviews of yarns and books, news and events. There are also plenty of patterns to keep your fingers busy until the next issue and beyond with beautiful pictures to guide you along the way and even a handy abbreviation section and how to guide should you need it.

This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest issue.

Available subscriptions are:
12 months: (12 Issues per year)

-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through Google Play Account settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.

Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.

We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area.

Ratings and reviews

I'd rather be able to purchase digital magazines for less than the paper copy; especially if I'm purchasing digital copies of back issues! The pricing is inconsistent as well. Some issues are £1.99, some are £2.99, and most are £4.99. Also, since these are digital, why aren't PDF files made available for those who own a digital copy? That way they can be read and/or used anywhere? I think I'll search for the pattern designers and ask if I can purchase the patterns directly from them instead.

I only have 3 stars because I cannot read any thing it's way too small. And it will not allow me to blow up the print

I'm not able to get this app on my Kindle. Very disappointing. Also when I want to retrieve the app I have to go to the app store every time.
