RaceJoy is a new way for athletes and spectators to experience race day- creating true Race Joy! No more standing around a board for results with RaceJoy's INSTANT RESULTS and progress updates. With RaceJoy's Phone Fun features, you now have access to true LIVE GPS tracking and proximity alerts! The days of your friends and family missing you as you run by are now gone! And they can Send you a Cheer while you race! Note: athletes do not need to carry their phone for results and progress updates.

*Live Tracking feature is ONLY activated during the hours of the Event. Use of this GPS technology running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. You may disable this under settings at anytime during the event to conserve battery life if needed.

Ratings and reviews

Great idea but horrible execution. UI is awful, and not intuitive. We did a 200 miles relay where cell phone coverage was not great is some areas and you can evev load the app. Its ok to not have the latest data but at least you should be able to see cached data. Audio uses always the phone speaker instead of an active bluetooth connection which is pointless if using a headset. If you are zooming in some area, the zoom is lost once you lock your phone

Terrible experience. Tried to use it to track a virtual race. Big green button to start is ok, but then a small ok that you have to hit while starting to run? Get it started, put my phone away so I can, well, run, and then when I finished, pull out my phone, and the app is telling me to start tracking. No clue when app decided it wasn't going to finish tracking my race. Fortunately, my race will accept my Garmin tracking. Very poor compared to other apps I've used for virtual tracking.

Absolute garbage! Didn't send any notifications when my husband was running his leg of the relay. Also he didn't get my "cheers." Super hard to navigate the app. I had to dig through menus just to find the tracking part, which should be the easiest thing to find! Totally useless app, don't bother.
