Lux isn't your stock brightness app. It wisely adjusts the brightness of your display based on environment light. Lux will automatically lower the brightness of your display to make it not only comfortable to read, but to also preserve battery power.

Lux is also able to adjust the screen temperature of your display automatically to make it appropriate for night usage. Lux is completly automatic. Just teach it how to behave and it will dim or light your screen for you!

Installed this app and it requires the "Appear on Top" permission to be enabled. As soon as I enable that, the whole screen is locked and no buttons can be activated. All I was able to do is to access settings, select apps, open F-Lux Lite and disable "Appear on Top." I now can activate anything on the screen but F-Lux Lite is completely unusable. I don't need a refund because I wasn't even able to purchase it. Needs serious work.

Got the pro version, works great except in the Settings menu, for some reason stops working there. Its very frustrating so I'm refunding.

Free version is minimalistic Didn't adequately brighten the screen remained dark. No obvious toggle to shift up the brightness curve. Uninstalled.
