Ratings and reviews

Unlike others, I've had zero problems syncing with my PC (that works great via Dropbox) However, when I share things TO Joplin on my Pixel phone, things get wonky After every three or four shares, it just loses it's mind, and stops adding anything. I have to force stop, clear the cache, and then it works great again For three or four more times Rinse and repeat Really smells like a memory management issue

It has a lot of advanced functionality and configuration options but the Android version is missing some seemingly basic must-have options like auto-backups, view/restore revisions, widgets and more. A lot of this can be solved with a PC and plugins but most plugins only work on PC and I hardly use one anymore. I love the sync options especially WebDav. If not for a few of the mentioned shortcomings this would easily be a 4 or 5 star app.

I have been using Joplin as an Evernote replacement, but have found the synchronization (via Dropbox) to be unreliable. I have lost hours of writing work multiple times and I am done. I am removing the mobile app so that I am no longer tempted to use it and will keep the desktop as an archive of my Evernote content.
