I initially loved this app! I loved how I could organize my notes for the comic I'm developing and the idea of being able to work on it across my phone, tablet, and PC--and then I actually tried to use that function. Working between your PC and mobile devices changes the font sizes in your notes so that they're not the same. And there's no way to change the default size in your note. Pinch to zoom is well and good, but how is it that I can't change the font size in my actual note? Seriously? In a word processing app that I paid for? That's like selling PB and J sandwiches without the bread and praising it for the banana slices you put on top. Definitely upset I paid for this.
There's no way to sign up because it only has a login screen. I don't want to link my google account but it is forcing me to in the assumption that I already have an evernote account. Obviously they don't want new customers. Uninstalled.
Previously I had wrote about an update that messed up the photo feature. Since then it has been fixed. Evernote is a really good product. I use this program daily for both work and personal keeping up with shopping list to business leads. I would highly recommend this program and look forward to continuing to use it long-term.
For the price I am paying, the least your company can do is make it possible to print notes easily from Android as well as export any note as a PDF. The lack of this basic functionality is appalling. I've seen a couple of workaround mentioned but all are unwieldy and most don't even work. This shouldn't be this difficult.
I gave up on Evernote a few years ago. I thought would give it a try again. It's reduced even more features in an effort to strong am you into purchasing a premium account. I don't have an issue paying for features.. but needing a premium account just to sync between devices is a deal breaker for me. I won't even try out features if their that stingy. There's lots of other apps that will do this without added costs.
Bad app. Be prepared for bugs. Sometimes one note's content automatically replaces the contents of other notes and you end up losing information.
* Bug fixes and improvements
* A small percentage of you may see a new feature called Collect, which helps you save images containing text you want to remember to Evernote. Just snap a picture of a whiteboard, receipt, document, or anything with text, and Evernote will help you save it automatically so that you can search for it later.
