I appreciate that KS gave us a paid version and tried to balance it accordingly. It still feels too much like a freemium game for my taste. Like most of their free titles, there's no endgame, no ability to fast forward, a focus on collecting, and a lot of waiting and watching your team do things with no input from you. I REALLY wish you could switch back to a job you've already mastered without having to pay knowledge costs. (It gets 1 automatic extra star for me for not being a freemium title.)

It is neh!! I would recommend Ninja Village, Grand Prix Story, Game Dev. Story. I think it is to tasking to try and fit much of the improvements on the ship to where you can get the most out of it. Really, there is not enough room for it all. Also, just to much micro management, even for micro managing. Tokens are not to hard to obtain and can save them if your a careful capt. Good game for those who grind to prepare for harder challenges type thing. Food/gold usage index should be added.

Kariosoft is excellent at designing games with a pay-to-play price tag. This game, unfortunately, seems to be based on a failed attempt at a microtransaction-integrated game that was later patched to use solely in-game currency. The timers for using gold to buy medals are ridiculously long (15+ hours). Medals are used for most things in the game but are a pain to get. I'm quite dissatisfied with this entry from Kariosoft. They can and have done much better. This game does have a lot of content.
