I beat it in one day and was disappointed that there wasn't more to the story. I do appreciate that there is a fast mode right off the bat (usually kairosoft makes you beat the game to unlock fast) but I kept feeling like "...this is it?". Once you get game of the year there isn't much more to do or spend your money on. Wish there were more quests or goals to reach.

Want to play a video game about making Video games??? Well here it is. level up your staff. Get them trained in the areas your game needs points in. Get a review from the industry and see how much money you can make. Upgrade to bigger offices. Hire more staff. Fire more staff. Can you make the game of the year? Yes. it's all here. been playing this for at least 6 years and it never gets old. Some complain it's repetitive. I could care less. This is the best game.

Repetitive, but fun! I like getting to discover new game genres/types and matching them up to see how well the final product performs. I wish we could see a full list of them to see what I'm missing, though. It's rough saving up for console licenses, especially in the first 20 years when consoles are constantly phasing in and out. Just save up and wait for the best console share-wise. Also, I can't find/train any software engineers to make my own console. Hiring/firing needs improvement.
