The Android User Interface collects the user's previous sleep, diet and medication information, users are responsible for responding accurately and truthfully to the questions in the questionnaire. Before the pre-shift questions you will read a short text that allows the Interface to record your voice. At the end it will show you a summary of the answers and you will have to send the information to the server in the cloud for the analysis of the answers and the voice. The Interface will receive the information of the results of the analysis and will show it to the user.
If after the analysis the result is ORANGE or RED, the supervisors and contacts will receive an email with the corresponding information. In case of a RED result on the voice, an SMS message can be sent to the supervisors and contacts.
After the first process (before the start of each work shift), the user should enter twice more (Example: after lunch and at the end of the shift) but in these cases you should only record the voice, which will be analyzed to obtain the current state of fatigue of the user. Again, if the result is ORANGE or RED, an email will be received with the corresponding information. Same as the previous process, in case of a RED result on the voice, an SMS message can be sent to the supervisors and contacts.
The results and the information obtained will allow early warning that users may have episodes of fatigue, is a prevention tool that helps reduce the risk of accident due to human error caused by fatigue.
The results of the questionnaire are analyzed based on the patterns indicated in the publication Managing fatigue: It's about sleep. Voice analysis is performed using an algorithm called IVOICE®
The algorithm is designed to recognize differences in the voice patterns of the user and is learning with the time of use, becoming more effective with its constant use.
