"The Last Wizard" is a 185,000 word interactive fantasy novel by Mike Walter, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Your choices will influence who rules the land and what happens to the civilians living there. Will you find love or will you strive to return to the life you were forced to leave behind? Will you save the kingdom, or will you betray the people for your own personal gain? The choice is yours!

Ratings and reviews

It's a good story, the choices seem to matter, and it has some replayability, but the five dollar price tag is a little high, I think three or four is a bit more reasonable. Also, to everyone mad about having to pay mid way through... every choice of and hosted game clearly states before you play that's how the games work, pay attention!

This game was amazing. There were multiple ways to play things, and there weren't any objects in the game that just sat around. Having multiple love interest was amazing, and the fact you can only study a certain amount of spells was amazing. I have to admit, it was a bit irritationing, but a neet story idea and it doesn’t dull the story to me.

It was definitely one of the better choice of games. There were a wide range of powers, and I felt like my choices actually mattered. However the writing was a bit lacking and the autobiographical style left little room for creativity. Overall, a good read, but it could have been written better, benefitting off a 'show not tell' tone.
