Optional, resizable, mid-screen tape is great! (think, "50-yard-line", but with zero as a moving center). Its helpful bc smaller measurements can be... frustrating. Pretty sure design wasnt thinking of ‹5mm use. Calibration is intuitive-ish with a small target box. Choose the right scale or be confused later! haha. Accidental reset during cal makes the coefficient very handy. Last, I know, kids got college, need diapers & car insurance, but ads mid cal are no-go for me. Also, not camera app.

I like the simplicity without unnecessary bells/whistles, just what i was looking for. Nice to simultaneously show inches and centimeters. However, this app only shows in landscape mode and can't flip to portrait mode. Moreover, it also locks up the phone in landscape mode and I can't get back to portrait mode unless I close this app first, which is a pain. I found a similar simple ruler app that can automatically flip between portrait and landscape, so I'll go with that one instead.

The great: it's accurate (unlike others I've tried) and it's simple. The free version works as needed. The not so great: it's really simple with no ability to customize or show increment numbers by default. Also, the 0 start is right at the screen edge and can only be indented by switching to the paid version, which I may do if this app continues to be useful to me.
