Protea Metering

About this app

An application that helps you take control over your appliances, meters, etc. to help you save energy and manage your consumption in the most effective way. This functionality is currently only available with the prescribed hardware, i.e. a Shelly device and a Utilities HUB (available from Power Systems Projects).
How it works:
1. Install one or more Shelly devices in your home to monitor the individual consumption of your geyser, stove, aircon units, etc.
2. Configure a Utilities Hub on your Wi-Fi network (Available from https://www.psp.co.za)
3. Add rules for your Shelly devices with this App to reduce electricity costs by synchronizing them to the time-of-use tariff structure of your utility company, and own-generation periods of your complex (e.g. during load shedding).
4. Obtain real time access to your utilities account (This option is available in complexes metered by Protea Metering - https://www.proteametering.co.za)
