The 2Books application is a modern book reader in English with a parallel translation of the text into Russian.

Parallel text (bilingual) is a method of teaching a foreign language by reading books with translation. This is one of the most accessible methods for self-study of a foreign language. Parallel translation of books is similar to the reading method invented by Ilya Frank. Memorization of English words and speech turns occurs due to the constant repetition of words in the text. You are just reading a book and learning the language.

For beginners to learn the language, adapted English books are available for free by levels: Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced. For the more advanced - classic English literature and modern English books in the original.

Choose between works that you can: start with short stories in English for beginners, gradually moving on to larger literary forms. Try to find books that interest you - romance novels, fantasy, science fiction, detective stories, and many other genres.

my favorite book app. comfortable ux design. maybe it would be nice to refresh design, make it more modern but it's okay now. please keep up the good work. add more and more books.(personally i looking forward to Cora Reilly's books)) this app is the most valuable for me as a lover of reading in the original. can u please allow to add not only single words, but also phrases, like "drown up", not only drown

Would be great if you added ai voices which is realistic. Because when i listen to a book it sounds robotic and little boring
