Overview of the Colour Screen App
This application lets you display screens in various colours.
You can set:
1. order
2. duration
3. number of repetitions
These settings allow you to use the app in a variety of situations.
Functions of the Colour Screen App
1. Display order
Users can set the order in which colours are displayed. For example, red, blue and green can be set to appear in that sequence.
2. Display by time
Users can set how long each colour is displayed on the screen. For example, red can be shown for 5 seconds, blue for 3 seconds and green for 10 seconds.
3. Frequency setting
Users can set how many times the sequence is repeated. For example, it can be set to repeat three times.
4. Colour screen display method
The app lets users choose how the screens are advanced in two ways:
- Button press: The user presses a button to display the next colour screen. This allows the user to change colours at their own pace.
- At a set time: The user sets the display time for each colour; when the time elapses, the next colour screen is shown automatically. The user does not need to press a button, as the screen switches to the next colour at the specified time.
5. Loop function
The app has a loop function. The sequence can be repeated a user-defined number of times. If the loop function is enabled, the colour screens will continue to display until the app is closed.
A colour screen app with these features can be used in many different contexts.
Use Cases for the Colour Screen App
1. Live concert venues
The app can enhance production at live concerts. Specific colours or sequences can be set to match the artist’s music and displayed as part of the performance to create visual effects.
2. School festivals
Using the app in a stall or on stage at a school festival can create eye-catching effects for the audience. Specific colours and changes can make performances and exhibits more vivid.
3. Videos for platforms such as TikTok
Videos filmed with colour screens can attract attention on social media. By combining specific colours or transitions, creators can produce visually appealing and creative content.
4. Lighting displays
The app can be used in lighting displays. Connecting it to the lighting system of a building or park and illuminating with specified colours or patterns can create a special atmosphere and make the site stand out.
5. Signalling and Morse code
The app can be used to convey messages or symbols. Specific colours or sequences can be used to display prominent signals or create Morse code–like light patterns for communication.
6. Dance and entertainment effects
