Currently, users must connect their phone to the camera's Wi-Fi to link the two devices. This is a core part of the camera's functionality as it allows users to remotely preview and control the camera, and download footage from the camera to the phone. However, the camera's Wi-Fi is a local network that does not provide internet access, meaning most users cannot access the internet once they are connected to the camera. This setup causes a lot of inconvenience, for example, in scenarios like live streaming, where users need to frequently disconnect and reconnect the camera to perform app authorization and other tasks. To address this issue, we use VpnService to route specific requests to the cellular network, preventing users from having to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect the camera.

App crashing and slow. Can't export videos. Can't even send a help message through app because it fails. Restarted phone, camera, everything's up to date. Tried on mobile data and wifi6. The camera (go3 black 128gb) is completely useless without a computer and cable now to manually remove video. And video is now lower quality when showing 2.7k. My GOPRO HERO9 black was far better video with 2.7k at 60fps. This one at 2.7k 30fps looks like 720/1080p. Very disappointing for how much it costs.

Update 2: once in a lifetime opportunity sailing under Golden Gate bridge. X4 crashes after recording for 24 seconds. The products just aren't reliable and this will be my last purchase from this company. Update: I received nothing for my previous issue. They should have warned about the migration issues. Old: "Migrated" my data over from the old app. It's all gone. Fully wiped. Goodbye Christmas 2022.

App constantly crashes when using the AI editor, rendering it useless. It crashes so much that my phone wants to quarantine it in deep sleep mode. The little bit I have used that function seems like it would be decent. Hopefully, there are some fixes in the near future, or I will return back to a two gopro setup as our sponsors use the videos.
