About this app

Circuit Jam is a puzzle game for learning electronic circuits from the creators of EveryCircuit. All five puzzle collections are now FREE and without ads!

Packed with sophisticated graphics and simulation technologies, this app makes electronic circuits remarkably interactive and approachable. There are over 100 puzzles that will take you for a fun and exciting ride. No... no getting deep into formulas or equations... just cool circuit games that take you from the very basic to keep-you-up-all-nighters. You will learn about voltage, current, resistance, capacitance and declare victory each time you win!

โ˜… Challenge yourself with over 100 puzzles
โ˜… Discover 10 essential circuit components
โ˜… Check your homework answers
โ˜… Invent your own circuits in sandbox
โ˜… Get ready to smile as you learn

The objective is to build circuits that generate electronic signals of some shape. You will get to make connections, set component values, and operate switches to solve the puzzles. Circuit Jam will also teach you how to add and divide voltages and currents, work out equivalent resistance and capacitance, and use Ohm's law and Kirchhoff's laws. As you complete puzzles, new sandbox components are unlocked.

Sandbox mode lets you build any circuit you can imagine out of unlocked components. With sandbox you can simulate examples in class, animate textbook circuits, understand how they work, and check homework answers. Or maybe you'll just have a brilliant idea and invent a new circuit.

Essential components can be unlocked by solving puzzles:
โ€ข Resistor
โ€ข Capacitor
โ€ข Lamp
โ€ข Switches
โ€ข Voltage source
โ€ข Current source
โ€ข Voltmeter
โ€ข Amperemeter
โ€ข Ohmmeter

I had this app for a while before deleting it (I had finished all the puzzles). After some time I redownloaded it, to play somemore. Now I don't have access to my purchase, and it said I still had already purchased it. I sent an e-mail explaining this with screenshots a week ago, and I haven't heard back. I consider this app unsupported, and bugged.

I had absolutely no idea how to make a circuit besides sticking my tongue on the end of a 9v battery before this game. After playing this game I feel like I'm the real life version of Neo from The Matrix! But seriously this game did help me to expand my very beginner level knowledge to the point where I am comfortable with the theory of basic circuits, and am able to start learning more of the advanced concepts more efficiently on my own, all while being packaged in a game! Plz add sound tho

Fun way to practice with basic circuits. Purchased the complete app and finished it in a couple of days. They really need to add more levels to it for a paid app ( RC circuits other components, etc). Once you get the hang of how to manipulate the components it works very well. Sometimes hard to see with the black background and grey colored components. Free version is very limited
