About this app

This Speedometer app informs you about the current speed, distance, trip time and much more! It is very useful when traveling by bike or car, while walking or running, but you can use it anywhere possible.

Main advantages of our Speedometer app:

• Status bar notification - know your speed, distance, trip time and other statistics while using other apps or on lock screen (lock screen notification works on Lollipop and newer).

• Shows current location, address and GPS status.
• Displays average and maximum speed, trip time and movement time.
• Supported speed units: km/h, mph, knots.
• Supported distance units: kilometers, miles, nautical miles.
• Activity presets allows you to quickly change the units and maximum speed displayed on the speedometer scale according to the current activity, for example: walking, running, cycling, driving a car, sailing etc.
• Easy to use.

To turn off the notification, just expand it and tap "stop" button.

Ratings and reviews

Devours battery power. Starts on boot and I haven't found a way to disable that 'feature' other than to uninstall. Too bad, because the interface is nicely designed. If there was a fix for this, I'd give it 5 stars.

The app is okay, but there are bugs that me and other people requested to fix the movement time. The movement time still counts when you are NOT moving or idle. Please fix this and then I will up this app a star. Thank you May 10, 2023

How do you stop this annoying permanent notification? No way to close it other than disabling notifications in settings. App also runs in the background all the time for no reason, where do I disable this?
