[My Katy app access permission items and reasons for need]
1. Required access rights
#Phone: Provides simple inquiry service (roaming information, UUID)
#Save: Download and save widget menu image

2. Optional access rights
#KTalk > Check to allow access to “audio recording” when clicking the microphone button in voice search
#Camera permission: ID card, credit/SIM card scan, QR code
#Address book: Check Y box friend list
#Nearby device access: Providing customized advertising services linked to peripheral devices
#Display on top of other apps: Provides screen services such as visible ARS
#Notification: Provides services such as usage push notifications

*You can use the service even if you do not agree to granting optional access rights.
*My Katy app was developed to allow you to individually agree and set optional access rights for Android 6.0 or higher. If you are using a version lower than Android 6.0, please check whether the device manufacturer provides an operating system upgrade function and proceed with the upgrade. Additionally, even if the operating system is upgraded, the access permissions agreed to in the existing app do not change, so to reset the access permissions, you can reset them in the device settings menu.

Ratings and reviews

Take so long to authenticate with text messages. It stuck on 자동로그인 after successful text msg. login. I guess short login(간편로그인? featur is the only Korean way to authenticate. Just use simple TLS). Pls improve the performance of the app and make it intuitive and user-friendly design. The design would be better if the app is responsive and easy to use, and be able to switch tasks or menus quickly even when selecting the different menu while processing. The app seems to be written in the 1980s.

Needs, has always needed, foreign language support. 14 years with KT and still no English version of the app. Shows our importance to the company. One of the most expensive countries for a mobile contact, we pay more than Korean nationals due to all the discounts available to them, and yet no English version of the app. Really poor.

This app is pretty easy to use, and it has a useful dashboard, which shows the data usage and availability for the current billing cycle. It also provides the option to replenish the current month data availability by pulling unused data from the next billing cycle.
