Once again the app is experiencing issues that make it IMPOSSIBLE to start a chat. When you send a message, it reads, "Error, please try again later" and kicks you out of the dialog. When you go to click on the number to call, it's improperly formatted and goes to the "Call not completed. Please check the number you are dialing and try again." I thought this app was supposed to help people in the moment? Not days later when they decide to fix things. Edit: Uninstall and reinstall done prior.

It's alright I suppose, but definetly isn't the most reliable. Whether it be the long delay when sending/recieving messages or unhelpful advice, it feels difficult to communicate with others. Not to say it hasn't helped in certain situations because it absolutely has, but it's not uncommon to find yoirself questioning whether or not the person you are speaking too is qualified. The biggest issue for sure though is the delay in sending messages.

Hi Rouse Rouse, we are sorry to hear of the issues you are having. Is the delay in SafeUT responding to your messages or your messages sending to us? All of our clinicians have at least a Master's degree in mental health but communication over chats can be especially hard. We will always be there for you if you ever need to reach out again.

This app is very good. I was having a pretty bad time with my mental health and was able to talk to a counselor who was very sweet, genuinely concerned, and was actually a real person. She taught me coping techniques and comfort that I couldn't search up online, as well as being personalized. There was a few glitches such as getting notifications 2 minutes after the message was sent as well as some messages were sent twice, but other then that it was pretty good.
