About this app

Life can get challenging at times… we feel like we're the odd one out, things seem heavy and dark, or overwhelming. At times we feel alone. But what if we can connect to the ups and downs and accept both sides as valuable aspects of ourselves and our lives?

Take a journey with 57 questions around what's going on in your life, what emotions you experience and the dreams you might not dare to dream. Gain a fresh perspective by reflecting on all the facets of your life, the ones that seem to go well and the ones you struggle with.

Help the guardians of Shadow's Edge. Shadow has taken over the city when people stopped expressing themselves and started judging themselves and started being scared of their difficult emotions.

In addition to take the narrative therapy based journey, you'll receive missions to cover the city in color and have a chance to battle Shadow in mini reaction games.

You'll discover there are others in the game also battling their Shadows. Join a supportive and creative in-game community where we support each other through the tough times. And not only do you get to level up your self-care game, but Shadow’s Edge is the only emotional wellness game where you can defeat your personal shadows in epic battles!

This past year has been more than stressful for people worldwide. Shadows Edge is a great tool for self care and helping improve your mental health. The journal prompts help me express myself and challenge me to reflect on my experiences, and the art offers an excellent form of healthy emotional release. It's so helpful I can't believe it's free and has no ads. I highly recommend downloading and trying this app c: clearly the staff here are dedicated to quality.

This is a great game, and I'd love to give it 5 stars. There are just a few things that would make it better. The graffiti can be kind of finicky, and it's also annoying that you can't erase. It would also be nice if the walls were labeled, as it would make the missions where you need to paint a specific wall easier. It's also frustrating that you can't access wisdom exercises after you do them the first time. I accidently skipped one, and now I can't recess it. Otherwise, it's a great game.

Hi Zoe, thank you so much for playing Shadows Edge. We appreciate your feedback. The grafitti in the game is used as a metaphor - in life we can not erase mistakes, but learn from them. The pigeons have 3 recurring exercises, you will need to find another pigeon to get back to one you skipped. Best wishes.

This is an amazing concept and I love most of the execution. However, I was having a problem collecting a page in Disillusionment so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game in hopes it would fix it. I have an account but when I logged back in it synced me to level 6 in the begining of the game when I had been level 20-something and well into it. I'm still giving 5 stars cause I love the game but this setback made me a little disheartened.
