Merge contacts very defective. For example, if you have multiple contacts with even one common element (say, a common home number) it will consider the entire set of contacts as duplicated and merge them. Untangling the mess it makes can take a long time. In my case, the transfer of contacts to a new phone resulted in the literal duplication of every contact, so I used this app as I had 100's of contacts duplicated. But it also merge entire families where there was only one common element.

Ok, finds duplicates but doesn't seem to offer the option to merge them, only delete identified duplicate(s) that you choose. Sometimes you may have duplicates where one has a home address and the other has an email address, both have same name & number. You would like to be able to merge all the data into one contact. Maybe it can be done but the app prompted for a review the 1st time I used it, this is what they get; an ill-informed review. Don't like ads in an app. Would purchase if 5 stars.

Last night I attempted to use the APP to eliminate duplicates. This morning I checked for improvements and found MORE entries not fewer and photos attached to Contacts that do not belong. My phone is even more of a mess now. Is this what you call 'cleaning up?' It does not work! I UNINSTALLED the APP. It definitely moved photos to Contacts and yes it added entries. They were already in the phone, true, but they definitely increased. I hope you can fix this. The concept of cleaning up is great.
