Ratings and reviews

When you can find jobs in your area, this app is definitely worth using. However, the algorithm for finding new job postings needs some serious work. After a single click on a remote job posting, I will get nothing but jobs based in the same area as the one I looked at, remote or not. It takes a while to re-train it to show nearby jobs.

Filters are worthless. I have my filters set to only 10 miles away, but I'm getting results that are 50+ miles away. There's also no way to set a wage preference, so I'm getting a bunch of minimum wage jobs. This is making the app too cluttered and utterly useless. I can scroll all day and still not find a relevant job! Indeed is so much better!

Great app for job leads. If you're lacking in an area that an employer is looking for, they provide links to improve what is lacking. Zip recruiter also updates as applicable. I honestly had many doubts about this app, but after using it for a bit now, and the responses I've received, I now look forward to checking ZipRecuiter every day. If anyone is curious about finding work on ZipRecuiter, I say go for it, as your resume etc will definitely get out there, and it makes applying so easy. L
